Nd Esther is my name; I am a practicing physician in Lagos, Nigeria.
I have become particularly interested in medical awareness, and SCD had become my first area of focus. This is because of the information gap I noticed around this all important and preventable condition.
I hope to create more awareness in this regard in attempt to reducing to barest minimum the incidence of SCD.
Nigeria is currently leading as a country with the highest number of people living or born with SCD; I wish this would stop.
This is my course and I’m looking for those who would love to be part of this .

Yes, there’s need to do more. There should be legislations and policies around these things.
I want more stories, we need different perspectives and engagement with the society in a way that informs deeply and inspires the right actions.
