Please help educate me

Hello, I am learning about ss, to try to help someone. I just read about cells going sickle when oxygen is lacking. I realise its normal for some blood to be lacking oxygen all of the time but I would like to ask if anyone feels they have felt improvement by trying to create a environment rich in oxygen? (many houseplants) If anyone understands the process of how and why the cells sickle and can explain it in words I might understand? Also this person has been advised to do regular blood letting (removing some blood) has anybody had good or bad experience from this kind of thing? I have read some of your posts on environmental changes and different situations causing issues. Any tips on creating the best environment in the home?

  1. Thank you for reaching out and wanting to educate yourself to help your friend; they are fortunate to have someone like you. While I can't speak directly to helping create a safe home environment, I did some digging and found a few links to share with you. My hope is these links will help guide you and help your friend. I also hope other community members will chime in and share their personal experiences with you as time goes on. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need more support, and if you're feeling up to it, please keep us posted on how you and your friend are doing. Sending strength and support to you both. -Beth (Team Member)
