I am a Father of SCD Child

Hi, my daughter was diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) when she was 1 year old. She is currently a year 4months now and 2days ago we noticed that her hands and feet are warmer and a bit swollen, and she cries because of pains. It's had watching her cry in pain. I need advice on how to manage the situation.

I am happy to join this community, I know I will get more information on how to help my precious daughter feel better.

  1. Hi , I am so sorry to hear that about your daughter! Unfortunately, we can't give medical advice, but definitely recommend speaking with her doctor, if you haven't already. I know it's been a few days so how is she feeling now?
