Sc disease - Sickle cell

Not sure if anyone knows but I got my blood work done and my testosterone levels are extremely low. I’m thinking of doing testosterone replacement therapy but I don’t know how that interacts with SC disease. I can’t find much information on google and my hematologist doesn’t say much of anything. Has anyone done it or know anything about it?

  1. I don’t know much about that but I’ll look into it for you and dm you whatever I find.

    1. thank you for your question. Low testosterone can be a complication for men. You can find more specific information in this article: https://sickle-cell.com/men. Do you have other symptoms/ complications such as, low sperm count or priapism? Those can be a result of low testosterone and medication for SCD can help. Here for you.
