I’m a Sickle Cell Survivor

Hello, My name is Lisa. I was diagnosed at Cleveland Clinic, OH. I was sixteen months old. My mother said that I had started to walk until one morning she feed and dressed me and put on my walking shoes, but I wouldn’t let my feet touch the floor. I would cry, my parents brought me to the Cleveland Clinic. After several test were taken, it was determined that I had Sickle Cell Anemia “SS”.
