What's In My Travel Medication Bag
Last updated: July 2022
When traveling, I always like to feel as prepared as possible for anything that could happen in regards to my sickle cell.
Being prepared
For those of us that live with it; we know how unpredictable sickle cell can be. For me, aches and pains are usually constant and a crisis could occur at any time. So, I usually take quite a large bag of medications with me when I travel that contains everything I may need and more.
Packing medications for travel
Usually, I won’t need to use a lot of the medication that I bring with me. However, I always feel better knowing that I have them there. Just in case.
