Sickle Cell Survivor
My name is Lisa, I was diagnosed at Cleveland Clinic, OH. At eighteen months old, my mom told me that I wouldn’t let my feet touch the floor. I’d cry 😭 not knowing what was wrong so she took me to the Cleveland Clinic. They did a blood test and I tested positive to SCD SS. I’m turning 60 in July. 😊
